Are your Myotherapists registered and qualified?

Yes, ALL of our therapists are highly trained, qualified and experienced.

We are all members of a professional association: Myotherapy Association Australia. We have provider numbers for most health funds.

You can click on the following link to find out more about our highly qualified and experienced Myotherapists.

What exactly is Myotherapy?

Myotherapists can be thought of as specialist massage therapists who have completed extensive study and training.

We use techniques such as deep tissue massage, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, dry needling, etc with Remedial Massage also available.

Is Myotherapy suitable for everyone, including pregnant women, the elderly and children?

Yes! Myotherapy is safe and effective for people of all ages.

Additionally, the clinic has pregnancy support pillows to allow the client to lie face down comfortably.

Does my private health insurance cover my treatment?

This will depend on your health insurance policy. If you are unsure, it is best to speak to your health insurer.

Most policies with ancillary or extras cover will provide rebates for Myotherapy and/or Remedial Massage.

If your policy covers Myotherapy or Remedial Massage, we can process your health insurance claim on the spot using HICAPS.

Do I need a referral?

A medical referral is not required to see a Myotherapist. This is great news as you can see us at any time you need our services.

Does Medicare cover my treatment?

Medicare – No

Unfortunately, Medicare does NOT cover Myotherapy.

EPC – NO.

Myotherapy is not covered with an Enhanced Primary Care Plan.

Do you treat Workcover and TAC patients?

Workcover – YES.

All Workcover patients will be required to provide us with an approval letter and are responsible for the balance of payment.

TAC – NO.

The TAC does not cover Myotherapy or Remedial Massage treatment.
