Leah Orchard
Leah Orchard completed her Advanced Diploma of Applied Science (Myotherapy) at RMIT in 2004.
It was in 2010 that she established Muscleworx Myotherapy and Massage in Essendon.
She has been treating for over 20 years.
With this experience, Leah is a very knowledgeable Myotherapist. Myotherapy Association Australia (MAA) is whom she is registered with.
She has professional indemnity insurance and provider numbers with most health funds.
Leah has a busy family life with 3 young children.
Leah has been locally treating in the Moonee Ponds and Essendon areas during her career.
She provides clients with much needed muscular pain relief, with conditions ranging from sporting injuries to occupational overuse problems.
Experience has been gained working with a wide variety of athletes within different sporting teams.
Leah has also worked in rehabilitation centers.
This has broadened her knowledge to treating a wide variety of clientele, of all ages.
The goal of Leah’s Myotherapy treatments is to restore the client’s muscles to a normal functioning state.
This is achieved by using a range of musculoskeletal treatments and rehabilitative programs.
Jove Kloppenburg
Joveniel Kloppenburg, preferring to be addressed as Jove, as this is much easier to pronounce than her full long name.
Her interest in remedial massage therapy began whilst receiving regular remedial therapy from her own remedial therapist.
Jove was initially trained in Thai massage for numerous years, then chose to further her education and knowledge by pursuing study in remedial therapy.
She also currently works as a massage therapist with the Westside Striker Soccer Team (women’s senior team) on a seasonal basis.
Her experience as a patient and now a therapist has equipped her with a greater understanding of how beneficial remedial massage therapy is to clients, whether it be for pain /injury treatment or tightness/stress/tension relief.
Louise Roussety
Louise Roussety is a qualified Myotherapist and Sports Therapist.
She graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy from RMIT, and an Advanced Diploma of Sports Therapy from the Australian College of Sports Therapy.
Being part of a team of Myotherapists at Carlton Football Club, and treating at Melbourne Victory Football Club for 2 seasons, she has a passion for treating sports injuries and complaints.
Her interests are in combining functional movement with manual therapies.
