Pain Relief & Restored Mobility,
Discover the Benefits of Myotherapy Today!
What is Myotherapy?
Myotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions which can cause pain and muscular dysfunction, affecting movement and mobility.
Myotherapists utilize a range of treatment techniques to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia).
The aim of Myotherapy
The main goal of a Myotherapy treatment is to reduce your pain, increase your range of motion, flexibility and strength.
We will also look at correcting any postural imbalances that might be causing your pain.
To help manage the injury or dysfunction, we may prescribe corrective exercises, stretches and give relevant advice to help manage the problem.
How is Myotherapy performed?
Myotherapy involves a number of treatment modalities. To achieve the best and most effective results for clients, such techniques may include:
- deep tissue massage,
- myofascial release,
- dry needling,
- soft tissue manipulation,
- trigger point therapy,
- cupping,
- joint mobilisation,
- MET (muscle energy technique),
- corrective exercise,
- rehabilitation programs.
